Good morning, here we are ready to start week #4 of the Prodigal God series! Dale did a great job last week discussing the younger son's change of heart when he came to the end of himself. I found it quite interesting that in chapter 15 of Luke we see the three persons of God within the three parables of the chapter! In the parable of the lost sheep we see Jesus, our shepherd, our protector, who pursues us and saves us! Then on the lost coin, the Spirit, who guides and directs our steps, and in the final parable of "a man and his two sons" we get a glimpse into the character of God, the Father, who, when we come to our end, and make the decision we no longer live for selfish ambition, takes us in and makes us his own ... running to the humble at heart, wrapping HIS arms around his own!Where do you find yourself today ... feeding your relationship with the Father, or defiantly going at it your own way? Turn around, he will be there! This week we will talk about what it means to be HIS son! The incredible transformation into the family, see you Sunday!T.
