Children's Sunday School

If you look around on a Sunday morning, you will see why children have a special place here at Summit View. In Luke 18:16, Jesus says “let the little children come to me” and we want to honor that commandment by working hard to help our children come to know Jesus better. Our church is blessed with children of all ages eager to learn about Jesus. During the Sunday school time, the children are taught a Bible-based lesson including how to apply God’s Word to their lives. A typical day might include Scripture memorization, Bible drills, games, crafts, and worship.

Because we value our children, all children from birth through fourth grade first stop at the Child Check-In located at the entrance to the education wing. There the children are registered and given a name tag which includes a special code and any applicable allergy information. The parent/guardian gets a tag with a matching code used when picking up the child after class. All adults involved in the children’s ministry have had background checks for your peace of mind.
